Eichinger winey is located in Kamptal, Austria. Established Since 1992, the winery has enjoyed continuous growth and currently boasts a total 15 hectares of prime Kamptaler vineyards. Mrs. Birgit is a member of 11 winemaker women and also the member of ‘Österreichische Traditionsweingüter’ (or so called ÖTW)


The ÖTW is a union of some of Austria’s best wineries, which classify their vineyards and have created the first catalogue of prime sites ‚Erste Lagen.The club has grown and today consists of 26 members. However, the classification of the vineyards remains of the utmost importance. The truth is, you don't always get the same quality if you grow your vine anywhere. They are committed to continuing this search and are actively working on ongoing work. where they can combine all our current discoveries and experiences. Austrian traditional wineries.

Riesling Strass Kamptal DAC 2020


Yield: 45hl per hectare

Harvest Date: October 5th and 6th, at 18.7° KMW.

Location and single-vineyard description: A vibrant Riesling sourced from the primary rock terraces from Gaisberg and Heiligenstein. We harvested these grapes four weeks before the main harvest of our reserve wines.

Vinification: Short maceration, cooled fermentationin a stainless steel tank, 4 months maturation „sur lie“ until botteling in the beginning of February.

Wine analysis: 12.5% vol. alcohol, 7.3‰ acidity, 3.8g/l residual sugar




Tasting notes: The nose is refreshing, crystal clear, and exudes delicate apricot aromas accompanied by fine minerals. Delicious apricot continues in the mouth with ripe citrus nuances. The fine acid delicately highlights the fruit lending a juicy and racy character. The finish is long and exquisitely appetizing; with an attractively lingering aftertaste; displays high drinkability and a classic varietal character. This wine comprises an equally perfect match for sashimi, turkey or warm goat cheese. A wine to enjoy with food, especially light food.


Grüner Veltliner Strass Kamptal DAC 2020



Yield: 60hl per hectare

Harvest Date: Beginning of October with an average of 17.0° KMW.

Location and single-vineyard description: Our Grüner Veltliner Strass is a proper village wine! The grapes are hand picked in a first selection across all of our Grüner Veltliner vineyards.

Vinification: No maceration, cooled fermentationin a stainless steel tank, 4 months maturation „sur lie“ until botteling in the beginning of February

Wine analysis: 12.0% vol. alcohol, 5.8‰ acidity, 1.5g/l residual sugar




Tasting notes: The nose is fresh and fruity. Lively acidity packed with fruit and hints of spice on the pallet. The divers soils of the different vineyards like Löss, gneiss, sandstone and granite merge into a wonderful reflection of the Strass terrier.
